(Web) Applications developer

External projects

• Collaborated on a large scale project for Shell International Exploration & Production by developing several modules of a worldwide e-learning web portal. Also independently created a web based bug reporting tool to support the project team.
   
• Developed a DHTML variant of an ActiveX drop down box and a navigational menu bar for the inventory web site of Philips Lighting.
   
• Designed the Graphical User Interface (GUI) for Toshiba Tec Europe's new Point-Of-Sales applications, both for the middle office and for the front office. Created a touch screen variant for the front office application next to the standard design.
   
• Administered part of the complex invoicing process of Telfort Telecommunications Netherlands and also functionally modified the usage filter on a regular basis in order to improve Telfort's billing process.

Internal projects

• Centralized the available knowledge of Info Support's Business Unit Finance by creating an intranet site for this unit which provides "knowledge management" functionality, the site also functioned as a bulletin board for all Business Unit Finance employees.
   
• Collaborated in the creation of the Info Support Digital Coach by building an error trapping module, a module that dynamically creates printable versions of all pages and designing the graphical interface of this web application. Also analyzed the application's user friendliness and advised on possible solutions which were in part also implemented by me.
   
• Heightened Info Support's ability to anticipate on the wishes and needs of its (potential) customers by helping the Sales Department in creating account plans of Info Support's clients.
   
• Developed a user authorized entry page for the .Net Developer Course Planner, a web based course planner, and minimized the number of pop up windows so that the user is not submerged with new windows opening constantly.

• Developed a so-called "StrecthHandle object" which aided Invers BV in the development of several drawing applications, this object would be wrapped around drawing elements. It made it possible to transform the elements by stretching them in all directions.
